A Tribute to the Giants of Rock & Metal é uma série especial de coletâneas organizada pela Impact Records, criada com o propósito de prestar tributo de forma recorrente a diferentes estilos do rock e, principalmente, do metal. A iniciativa busca celebrar os maiores clássicos desses gêneros em suas diversas vertentes, incluindo heavy, thrash, death, black, doom, speed, power, prog, gothic e muito mais.
O primeiro volume, dedicado ao Thrash Metal, contará com 15 faixas que oferecem releituras inovadoras de clássicos imortais do gênero. Seu lançamento está previsto para novembro de 2025. A ideia da série é apresentar esses hinos marcantes a uma nova geração de headbangers e oferecer novas perspectivas sonoras para quem já está familiarizado com essas obras.
A coletânea também visa evidenciar o talento e a criatividade das bandas, combinando o respeito pelas composições originais com inovação, elevando esses clássicos a novos patamares de intensidade, peso e expressividade.
O diferencial da série é que cada volume traz bandas de estilos variados dentro do rock e do metal, mas que não pertencem ao estilo homenageado, reinterpretando as músicas de forma única, com sua própria identidade sonora.
Cada edição buscará ainda trazer uma versão considerada icônica, interpretada por uma banda convidada de maior destaque na cena underground mundial, reforçando o caráter de homenagem e a conexão entre diferentes gerações. A intenção é quebrar barreiras estilísticas, apoiar e unificar a cena do metal underground.

As versões musicais aqui apresentadas foram produzidas e interpretadas pelas bandas participantes com o único propósito de homenagear clássicos atemporais do rock e do metal, difundir tais obras junto a uma nova geração de ouvintes e promover a divulgação artística das bandas envolvidas.
A coletânea é financiada em parceria pelas bandas participantes e pela Impact Records, sendo distribuída em formato físico exclusivamente para imprensa, zines, rádios e veículos especializados, sem qualquer cópia destinada à venda pelo selo, além de versão digital para divulgação pública.
O projeto destina-se única e exclusivamente à celebração cultural, à divulgação e ao fortalecimento da cena rock e metal, não havendo, em hipótese alguma, intuito de violação de direitos autorais ou exploração comercial das obras originais.

A Tribute to the Giants of Rock & Metal is a special series of compilations organized by Impact Records, created with the purpose of paying recurring tribute to different styles of rock and, especially, metal. The initiative aims to celebrate the greatest classics of these genres in their various forms, including heavy, thrash, death, black, doom, speed, power, prog, gothic, and much more.
The first volume, dedicated to Thrash Metal, will feature 15 tracks offering innovative reinterpretations of the genre’s immortal classics. Its release is scheduled for November 2025. The goal of the series is to present these iconic anthems to a new generation of headbangers while offering fresh sonic perspectives to those already familiar with these works.
The compilation also aims to showcase the talent and creativity of the bands, combining respect for the original compositions with innovation, elevating these classics to new levels of intensity, weight, and expressiveness.
The series’ distinguishing feature is that each volume includes bands from diverse rock and metal styles that do not belong to the style being honored, reinterpreting the songs in a unique way, with their own sonic identity.
Each edition will also feature an iconic version performed by a guest band with significant recognition in the global underground scene, reinforcing the tribute’s purpose and the connection between different generations. The intention is to break stylistic barriers, support, and unify the underground metal scene.

This project is strictly non-profit for Impact Records and is not linked to any commercial activity or economic exploitation.
The musical versions presented herein were produced and performed by the participating bands with the sole purpose of paying tribute to timeless classics of rock and metal, introducing these works to a new generation of listeners, and promoting the artistic dissemination of the participating bands.
The compilation is jointly financed by the participating bands and Impact Records, and is distributed in physical format exclusively to press, zines, radios, and specialized outlets, with no copies intended for sale by the label, as well as in a digital version for public promotional distribution.
The project is intended solely and exclusively for cultural celebration, dissemination, and the strengthening of the rock and metal scene, with no intention whatsoever of infringing copyright or commercially exploiting the original works.
