Volume 01 da série ‘A Tribute to the Giants of…’. Esta coletânea inaugura uma série especial de tributos organizada pela Impact Records, celebrando os maiores clássicos do rock e do metal em suas diversas vertentes – rock, heavy, death, black, doom e muito mais.

O diferencial da série é que cada volume traz bandas de estilos dentro do rock e metal bem diversificados entre si mas que não pertencem ao estilo homenageado, reinterpretando os hinos de forma única, com sua própria identidade sonora, acrescentando criatividade e desafio ao ressignificar essas composições. Cada volume buscará também trazer uma versão considerada icônica, interpretada por uma banda convidada de maior destaque na cena underground, reforçando, dessa forma, o caráter de homenagem e a conexão entre diferentes gerações de bandas da cena. A intenção é quebrar barreiras estilísticas, apoiar e unificar a cena do metal underground.

Neste primeiro volume, dedicado ao Thrash Metal, cada faixa oferece releituras inovadoras de clássicos imortais do gênero, apresentando-os a uma nova geração de headbangers e oferecendo novas perspectivas sonoras para quem já conhece essas obras. A coletânea evidencia o talento e a criatividade das bandas, combinando respeito pelas composições originais com inovação, e elevando o Thrash Metal a novos patamares de intensidade, peso e expressividade.

Este projeto é estritamente sem fins lucrativos para a Impact Records, não estando vinculado a qualquer atividade comercial ou de exploração econômica. As versões musicais aqui apresentadas foram produzidas e interpretadas pelas bandas participantes com o único propósito de homenagear clássicos atemporais do rock e do metal, difundir tais obras junto a uma nova geração de ouvintes e promover a divulgação artística das bandas envolvidas.

A coletânea é financiada em parceria pelas bandas participantes e pela Impact Records, sendo distribuída em formato físico exclusivamente para imprensa, zines, rádios e veículos especializados, sem qualquer cópia destinada à venda pelo selo, além de versão digital para divulgação pública.

O projeto destina-se única e exclusivamente à celebração cultural, à divulgação e ao fortalecimento da cena rock e metal, não havendo, em hipótese alguma, intuito de violação de direitos autorais ou exploração comercial das obras originais.

Volume 01 of the series “A Tribute to the Giants of…”. This compilation inaugurates a special series of tributes organized by Impact Records, celebrating the greatest classics of rock and metal in their various styles – rock, heavy, death, black, doom, and more.

The series’ differential is that each volume brings together bands from diverse styles within rock and metal that do not belong to the honored genre, reinterpreting the anthems in a unique way, with their own sonic identity, adding creativity and challenge by re-signifying these compositions. Each volume will also aim to include an iconic version, performed by a guest band of greater prominence in the underground scene, thus reinforcing the tribute’s character and the connection between different bands in the scene. The intention is to break stylistic barriers, support, and unify the underground metal scene.

In this first volume, dedicated to Thrash Metal, each track offers innovative reinterpretations of the genre’s immortal classics, presenting them to a new generation of headbangers and offering new sonic perspectives for those already familiar with these works. The compilation highlights the talent and creativity of the bands, combining respect for the original compositions with innovation, and elevating Thrash Metal to new levels of intensity, weight, and expressiveness.

This project is strictly non-profit for Impact Records and is not linked to any commercial activity or economic exploitation. The musical versions presented herein were produced and performed by the participating bands with the sole purpose of paying tribute to timeless classics of rock and metal, introducing these works to a new generation of listeners, and promoting the artistic dissemination of the participating bands.

The compilation is jointly financed by the participating bands and Impact Records, and is distributed in physical format exclusively to press, zines, radios, and specialized outlets, with no copies intended for sale by the label, as well as in a digital version for public promotional distribution.

The project is intended solely and exclusively for cultural celebration, dissemination, and the strengthening of the rock and metal scene, with no intention whatsoever of infringing copyright or commercially exploiting the original works.
