Formada em 16 de março de 2006 em Duque de Caxias, Rio de Janeiro, Brasil, por Azi Dahaka, a Profane Art iniciou sua trajetória executando um Black/Death Metal técnico, caótico e brutal. Entre 2007 e 2018, a banda consolidou seu nome na cena underground nacional com apresentações em diversos estados do Sudeste e lançou 1 demo auto-intitulada e 2 singles. Após entrar em hiato em 2020, a Profane Art foi reestruturada em 2023 por Azi Dahaka (vocais), que completou a formação com Bruno Shagareth (guitarra solo), Paulo Augusto (guitarra), Sérgio Viana (baixo) e Kollossus (bateria). Com essa nova formação, a banda passou a direcionar sua sonoridade ao Blackened Death Metal e atualmente se encontra em estúdio gravando seu primeiro álbum completo, explorando temas ligados à obscuridade da mente humana. A Profane Art também assinou com a assessoria de imprensa Sangue Frio Produções e fechou parceria com a Impact Records para participar do primeiro volume da coletânea A Tribute to the Giants of Thrash Metal.

Formed on March 16th, 2006 in Duque de Caxias, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, by Azi Dahaka, Profane Art began its journey performing a technical, chaotic, and brutal form of Black/Death Metal. Between 2007 and 2018, the band established its name in the national underground scene with shows across several states in the Southeast and released 1 self-titled demo and 2 singles. After going on hiatus in 2020, Profane Art was restructured in 2023 by Azi Dahaka (vocals), who completed the lineup with Bruno Shagareth (lead guitar), Paulo Augusto (guitar), Sérgio Viana (bass), and Kollossus (drums). With this new formation, the band embraced a sound more rooted in Blackened Death Metal and is currently in the studio recording its first full-length album, delving into themes of the obscurity of the human mind. Profane Art has also signed with Sangue Frio Produções press agency and joined forces with Impact Records to take part in the first volume of the compilation A Tribute to the Giants of Thrash Metal.
